What I Ate in a CHILL DAY as a Vegan

I think Saturday is my FAVOURITE day of the week… It’s the perfect day because you can sleep in if you want to (possibly nursing a hangover) and yet you still know that there’s another day in the weekend tomorrow! Even though I work for myself and that pretty much means I don’t really get a “proper” weekend (in the same way that others do – of course, there are obvious perks to being your own boss!), I still cherish my Saturdays.

Up until about 2-3 weeks ago, I was working at the cafe on Saturdays as well and since we’ve hired some staff, I’ve been able to have the precious day off. And it’s been wonderful. Even if I end up doing some work, I usually still have a pretty chill day since I don’t have cafe responsibilities! Since we’ve opened up the vegan cafe, I’ve been spending a lot of time working at the cafe so if a day comes when I don’t have to go in, I feel like I have so much more time to spend doing other stuff.

Since I’m a semi-workaholic, I did end up doing some work on my “chill” day but it was still chill in my books…
