Rice burgers are now my new favourite thing. It’s pretty much like combining two of my favourite things into one. Burgers and of course, rice! I eat rice pretty much every single day (I’m Asian, what can I say?!). So this gives me a reason to eat a burger every day too… haha
You can pretty much make rice burgers in whatever way you want to by adding anything in the middle! For this version, I decided to make a teriyaki bean patty and it worked out beautifully. It was so yummy!! I really hope you guys give this one a go.
Vegan Teriyaki Rice Burger Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 can chickpeas or other beans of choice
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 1.5 cups chopped mushrooms
- 3/4 cup oat flour
- 3-5 tbsp teriyaki sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oil
- Around 1 cup cooked sushi or short-grain rice (Brown or white)
