Just like most of my plant-based cheese recipes, I use cashews (instead of tofu) as the main ingredient to make the texture & taste similar to cheese, especially crumbly like parmesan is! This vegan cashew parmesan is so tasty and if you add garlic powder you’ll get a garlic-y parmesan taste which i recommend!

What is cashew parmesan made of? Most vegan cashew parmesan is made of nuts (like cashews), seeds, or soy (like tofu).

For this recipe, all you need to do is blend all the ingredients together in a food processor and process until crumbly.

If you want, you can use less cashews and add other nuts. For example, I would recommend doing 1/2 cup cashews and 1/4 cup different types of nuts.
