I Drank 1.5 Gallons of Water a Day for Two Weeks… this is what happened.

I’m a BIG fan of water… I never understood people that say they don’t like to drink water or that they don’t like the “taste” of water. Isn’t it just in our nature to like drinking water since it is essential for healthy survival?

Anyway, I wanted to do this “challenge” that I’ve seen a few YouTubers do – this is the drinking 1 gallon of water a day. I wanted to try this for one week but I ended up extending it to two weeks to really see the results. I also increased the amount of water (as you’ll see in the video) to 1.5 gallons (sometimes even 2 gallons, depending on the day) a day because I realized that 1 gallon was too little for me!

We all know water is super beneficial for us in SO many ways. I try to drink lots of water on a regular basis to “flush out the toxins”, to be hydrated so I can have better skin, to decrease water retention/bloating, to lose weight, etc. But quite often, I forget to drink lots of water just because I don’t really keep track of how much I’m drinking. I get busy during the day and I simply forget. So it was nice to stay on top of things so that I can know how much I’m drinking throughout the day. I’m definitely going to keep trying to drink at least one gallon of water a day or just continue the 1.5 gallons of water. Maybe I’ll give you guys another update in a month or so… maybe my skin will look like a glowing goddess by that point (one can only dream).

  1. Thanks for the inspiration. I’m going to give it a shot. I feel as though my bladder is miniscule, so maybe I’ll do the bathroom count you talked about. 😉
