Hailey Bieber Smoothie

Vegan Strawberry Smoothie Recipe

I’ll show you how to make the famous Hailey Bieber Smoothie at home! It’s super easy, way more affordable than the $20 version from Erewhon (officially, the smoothie is called Hailey Bieber’s Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie), and made with simple, plant-based ingredients.

You can follow my simplified (and veganized) version using basic ingredients you probably already have at home. It’s fruity, creamy, and layered with coconut cream + strawberry “glaze” for that pretty pink look.

This completely plant-based version skips a few of the harder-to-find, expensive ingredients but still tastes yummy! This is perfect for a delicious breakfast or a nice treat in the middle of the day.

Recipe for Hailey Bieber Smoothie

This Hailey Bieber-inspired smoothie is super easy to make at home using everyday ingredients like strawberries, banana, avocado, and almond milk (or other non-dairy milk). Everything can be found at most grocery stores—no need for expensive powders or supplements (unless you want to add them of course). It’s naturally dairy-free, gluten-free, and can be made nut-free depending on the plant milk you use.

The layers of strawberry glaze and coconut cream give it that signature pink swirl effect, while the smoothie itself is fruity, creamy, and pleasantly sweet. It takes just a few minutes to make.

If you’re feeling extra lazy, feel free to skip the strawberry glaze and coconut cream and simply make the smoothie base! It won’t be as “pretty” and will take away some of the sweet and creamy flavour, but it’ll be much easier! All you need is a blender.

If you want to make it more filling and/or higher in protein, feel free to add in a scoop of vanilla (or unflavoured) plant-based protein powder or vegan collagen (I recommend using vanilla-flavoured, but you could also use unflavoured). I recommend using Vedge Vanilla Ice Cream Protein Powder or their Vegan Collagen (use my code CHEAPLAZYVEGAN for a discount!).

This recipe is vegan and gluten-free, and can be made nut-free (use nut-free milk) and soy-free (use soy-free milk).

If you don’t have coconut cream, use full-fat canned coconut milk.

Want it sweeter? Add more dates, more maple syrup, or sugar-free syrup to your smoothie.

How To Make Hailey Bieber Smoothie

  1. In a small pan, heat chopped strawberries on medium-high heat. Add maple syrup and lemon juice. Let it simmer until soft, then mash with a fork to create the strawberry glaze. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a bowl, stir together coconut cream (or full-fat coconut milk) and vanilla syrup. This will help thin out the coconut cream so it can drizzle easily, and also will make it sweeter.
  3. Add almond milk (or any other non-dairy milk of choice), banana, avocado, dates, frozen strawberries, and vegan collagen or protein powder (optional) to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and add some more maple syrup, vanilla syrup, or pitted dates if you want it sweeter.
  5. In a smoothie cup, glass, or mason jar, spoon in the strawberry glaze. Drizzle the coconut cream along the sides in straight lines using a spoon. Pour in the smoothie. Done!

A lot easier than I thought and very good! I changed out almond milk for coconut milk and when I double the recipe I get about 3 smoothies
