Recipe for Gochujang Sesame Noodles

Gochujang, a Korean fermented chili paste (for those who are new to gochujang), goes perfectly with sesame noodles creating a creamy, spicy and delicious recipe.

This is one of the easiest noodle recipes you could make and possibly the quickest. For this recipe, we are using thin wheat noodles (somyun or somen noodles) which are chewy and absolutely delicious. But feel free to use any noodles of your choice! Somyun noodles are fantastic because the texture is chewy and goes really well with this sauce but feel free to use soba, rice or udon noodles instead, if desired.

The best part about this is that you can cook up edamame beans and broccoli (and other vegetables if you prefer) along with the noodles which saves time. And while the noodles are cooking (which doesn’t take long), you can simply mix together the sauce ingredients. Yes, it’s that easy!

Made this for lunch. It was fast and easy to make! The tahini made the sauce velvety and creamy. I too like spice so I added a touch more. The sauce did get thicker with time. I added a touch of water to it and it worked out perfectly. I made this dish according to the recipe. I am going to try this one with tofu next time. Thanks for another great recipe 🥰❤️

This was SO good and so crazy fast to make! Took me literally like 15 minutes to make. I boiled my frozen broccoli and edamame in the same water as the noodles and I added a teaspoon of gochugaru for more heat and omg so delicious!

Quite possibly the easiest and most delicious 5 minute noodle dish. Who thought to combine gochujang AND tahini, two of my favorite things. I used different noodles for this but it was so good, this will be in my regular rotation. Thank you!
