Easy Fall Inspired Smoothies

Even though it’s getting colder, there’s no reason we can’t enjoy some delicious smoothies in the fall! These fall-inspired vegan smoothies are easy to make, filling and satisfying. I have three different recipes to share with you guys.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Of course, you can’t do a “fall-inspired” post without adding something to do with pumpkin nowadays, can you? This smoothie definitely reminded me of a pumpkin pie but in a glass. Delicious and very appropriate for fall!

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 – 1 cup water or non-dairy milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3-4 pitted dates or other sweetener
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground all spice
  • 1/8 tsp ginger

Oh my gosh, this was like a dessert in a glass (actually all of these are…). Really filling, healthy and creamy. You’ll definitely want to try this!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 cup water or non-dairy milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (I used Chocolate PB2 – powdered peanut butter)
  • 2-3 pitted dates or other sweetener
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

 

 

Vegan Chocolate Protein Milk Shake

This one has to be my favourite, mainly because I LOVE chocolate and …. I love chocolate?! I also love the creaminess of this one and the fact that it is high in protein. It really reminds me of a creamy, rich milkshake but without all the bad stuff… pic3

Ingredients: 

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 3-4 pitted dates or other sweetener
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or other non-dairy milk
  • 1/2 package soft or silken tofu
