How To Make Brussels Sprouts with Maple and Balsamic (Vegan
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Cut the stems of the Brussels sprouts then slice in half.
Place the Brussels sprouts onto a baking sheet (put them cut side down to make them extra crispy on the outside) and roast in the oven at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes.
While Brussels sprouts are roasting, add mix together balsamic vinegar and maple syrup together in a small bowl.
Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, add the maple balsamic mixture immediately and mix well to coat.
Roast in the oven for another 5-10 minutes until golden and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Before serving, add salt or pepper to taste or any other spices and seasonings you want to add (optional). Other optional add-ins could be roasted almonds or any nuts/seeds of your choice.

- 500 grams Brussel sprouts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cut the stems of the Brussels sprouts then slice in half.
- Add the Brussels sprouts into a mixing bowl and toss in olive oil, salt and pepper and until coated.
- Place the Brussels sprouts onto a baking sheet (put them cut side down to make them extra crispy on the outside) and roast in the oven at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes.
- While Brussels sprouts are roasting, add mix together balsamic vinegar and maple syrup together in a small bowl.
- Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting for 20 minutes, pour the maple balsamic mixture immediately onto them and mix well to coat.
- Spread them apart again then roast in the oven for another 5-10 minutes until golden and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
- Before serving, add salt or pepper to taste or any other spices and seasonings you want to add (optional). Other optional add-ins could be crushed red pepper flakes, roasted almonds or any nuts/seeds of your choice.
