How To Make Black Bean Toast

1. Start making your black bean toast by toasting your slices of bread.

2. Meanwhile, cut your tomatoes in half or chop them more finely if desired. Place them in a bowl. Dice the red onion and add them into the bowl, along with lemon juice.

3. Once the bread is toasted, add avocado slices on top, followed by black beans and top with the tomato mixture from the bowl.

4. Top with cilantro (optional) and add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy this delicious toast recipe!

  • 2 slices Bread
  • 1/2 cup Black beans from can, rinsed and drained
  • 3/4 cup Cherry Tomatoes chopped, grape or cherry tomatoes or regular tomatoes
  • 1/4 Red Onion small, diced
  • 1/2 Lemon juice squeezed, or lime juice
  • 1/2 Avocado sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp Cilantro optional, chopped
